Turkmen and Turkish universities in the framework of ICM project

The ICM project Agreement has been concluded between the Turkmen State Institute of Culture (TGIK) and Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇAKÜ) according to which TGIK teacher Maral Muratlıeva had her internship at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management at ÇAKÜ in October 2024. During the internship program, she also delivered lectures and practical classes for ÇAKÜ students and teachers on the opportunities of Turkmenistan’s tourism potential. The lectures stimulated great interest of the audience and wish to visit Turkmenistan. Her lecture topics:
"Tourism potential of Turkmenistan", "Main tourist attractions of Ashgabat and the Ahal region", "The Parthian fortresses of Nisa — a UNESCO World Heritage Site", "Avaza National Tourist Zone," "Darvaza Gas Crater," "Kunya-Urgench — UNESCO World Heritage Site," "Dinosaur Plateau on the Slopes of the Koitendag Mountains," and "Ancient Merv State Historical and Cultural Reserve." Maral noted that her participation in the project provided an opportunity to learn about the teaching methods of Turkish colleagues and exchange experiences.
