Final meeting with the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan and Turkmen HEREs

The final meeting of the National Erasmus+ Office and the national Higher Education Reform Experts with the representative of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, Mr. Borislav Dimitrov, was held on 26 December 2024. The main purpose of the meeting was to review the activities and achievements of NEO and HERE team during the 2022−2024 period.

Turkmen HEREs took part in the Regional Conference

The Conference held in Tashkent on December 19−20, 2024 brought together HEREs to discuss the improving of the HE system in CA countries through exchange of experience in particular in the framework of Erasmus+ new regional projects and mobility agreements. The Conference was hosted by the TIIAME National Research University.

On December 18, 2024 the Erasmus+ Info session was held at the Turkmen State Medical University (TSMU) which included the presentation of newly selected CBHE projects — GSSD4CAU and ESGCA (Call for proposals 2024). The meeting was aimed to observe the opportunities and prospects of Erasmus+ programme 2025 Call for higher education institutions and individuals.

On December 14, 2024, with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the National Erasmus+ Office organised a meeting targeted to promote the information on the Erasmus+ Programme and the HERE international activities.
Gulnabat Gurdova, Head of International Department (MoE) and Ayna Chorekliyeva, NEO Coordinator, welcomed the participants. A. Chorekliyeva told about importance of participating in Erasmus+ activities for the development and support of Turkmen universities. Show more

NEO and HERE Team organised information sessions

In December NEO and HERE Team continued to host Information sessions in national universities. The events were targeted to acquaint the audience with innovations of the Erasmus+ Programme for 2025. On December 4, 2024 the meeting were organised at the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management (TSIEM) and on 7th of December at the Turkmen State Institute of Finance (TSIF).
Addressing the participants, A. Chorekliyeva, NEO Coordinator noted the positive effect of Turkmen universities participated in the CBHE and ICM projects.
