The EU Commission has launched new Erasmus+ 2023 Call for proposals

The new Erasmus+ Call for proposals 2023 and the Programme Guide 2023 have been published with € 4.2 billion to support mobility and cooperation in education, training, youth and sport.
Erasmus+ Programme was established 35 years ago. The current number of its participants is 35 million people. The total budget of the Programme from 2021 to 2027 is 26.2 billion Euros and 2.2 billion Euros from EU’s external instruments. Show more

NICoPA - a path to sustainable farming

Erasmus+ project NICOPA (New and innovative courses on precision agriculture) has been implemented by sixteen EU and CA partner universities since January 2019. Among Turkmen partners there are three Turkmen universities: Niyazov Turkmen State University (TAU), Turkmen Agricultural Institute in Dashoguz (TAI), and Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction (TSACI).

GEOCLIC - Erasmus+ green project in Turkmen universities

GEOCLIC (New courses on geospatial engineering for climate change adaptation of coastal ecosystems), started in November 2020, is currently being implemented in three Turkmen universities: International University for Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan (IUHD), Turkmen Agricultural University (TAU), and Turkmen State University (TSU). The project involves five EU, three Central Asia countries, and Azerbaijan. CA countries particularly need to have specialists for monitoring and managing coastal ecosystems given the region vulnerability to natural disasters and climate changing. The goal of the project is to modernize the current curricula and develop new Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs for training specialists in the field of ecology management and engineering of coastal zones.
